My first Illustration Friday and my second watercolor. Little Guache thrown in too.
G is for Gargamel!
By the wife’s request, Gargamel. I have been enrolled in some life-drawing classes as a cool birthday gift. Hope I dont have to draw naked old men… or old women… also hope I dont turn 4 shades or red or giggle continuously throughout the sessions. I am an artiste, after all.
As part of the gift, or actually as another gift, I got a $50 dollar gift card to Binders for the supplies. That gave me a bit of money left over for spendin’, so I got a small set of water colors too. This is my first real attempt at using them, and while there are quite a few problems, some with the painting and some(most) with the underlying drawing, I’m pretty happy overall with the results.
